Scams Of Singapore

Just got a phone call half an hour ago from this idiot customer.
Now I know why I am so reluctant to call myself Singaporean. It is because of these scams of Singapore which totally spoil the image of us. Here is how it goes.

Apparently, the call I got was a recipient who just received a gift. Not liking the item, she wanted an exchange for another item.
I mean this is a gift from the goodwill of your sender. SHUT UP and RECEIVE IT! How do you think you will feel if I reject your gift, your taste? Don't you have any bloody courtesy?

Explaining to her that we do not have such an exchange policy, she demands to speak to my manger who is not working today. Thus, she decided to revert to speak to the person in charge today. Reason behind, she does not want to hear from me. Fine! I am in charge, so you can call my manager tomorrow.
She just doesn't want to face the fact that she can't change her item. And states unreasonable demands. OMG! If every of my customers wants this, do you think any business in Singapore can last for a week? LADY, WAKE UP YOUR F***ING IDEA!

Thereafter giving my manager's name, without even a decency of giving a simple goodbye, she juz snaps off the phone just like that. Is this the type of up-bringing thought by your parents? Or the sort of up-bringing you encourage your children to cultivate in future? If so, I so wish that you're parents have given birth to a lump of pork, cook it and eat it. Less expensive and so much beneficial to the society. What is this place turning into? The total ugliness of Singapore. Is this the place I call my home? FORGET IT!!! I will just thake the whole idea and SHOVE IT UP HER ASS.

Oh dear! She juz spoil my mood for the whole day.
Let's juz make a bet that she will come up with a whole new reason tml (your item damage, your plants not nice, not fresh, your CS rude etc.) and demands the exchange. And sad to say, she will get it. But she will not get it from me. Not even over my dead body. '

Gotta go do something better than rambling over this bitch. Signing off.

p.s. Sorrie for the language but I am totally PISSED OFF by this lady. Believe anybody will be too.

Sired 1, Another To Go

Actually this is quite backdated. Forgive me! Can't realli find the time to blog recently. Total mad rush of things.
Was suppose to go on off today. However, juz 1 sms and I am back. Not that I am complaining, as I do realli have lots to settle. But I think I am abit washed out. And my health is not peaking on me. Never mind, bygones! At least Boss upgraded my off till one without an expiration date.

However, I definitely need the off tomorrow. By hook or by crook, I am not coming in. Juz for the noon time, maybe...maybe tomorrow... (p.s. Westlife's song)

Okie, back to topic. The launch was quite a successful...to me. Was a nice location I muz admit. But juz that the crowd was kinda boring. After all, what you expected from a group of working boring office life adults. Thank God there were us, the .com staff, to spice up the craic. Haha! All in all, I muz say a big thank you to the ppl who place the great effort in the pre-setup. Kudos!!!

As for my outfit that nite, was quite a last minute shopping at Queensway. Did not really think that was going to be that nice, nevertheless, I'm surprised it fitted nicely into the theme. Juz a problem....I did not take any photos!?!?! Arggghhh.... Nvm, there is always another chance.

Okie, now it is time to rack my brain for the coming DnD on Saturday. Now that is a total nerve-wrecker. Will be a big miracle if I pull this off. Haha!

~Horrified~Upcoming Events

Okie, today's entry shall kinda be pretty long. No worries! Lessen the words, put them into images. After, pictures spell a thousand words.

As spoken at start, facing with a few major events. The beforemath of the events is really a killer. Meetings, outfits, preparations etc. And with the talks hanging around everybody's mouths at work, really adds on to my stress. Though not one of the key players, but definitely still playing a role. Could I give another sigh?

First comes first. Launch event. Not realli suppose to say much. So I'll keep the spoilers and details brief. Seniors MUST BE present. Sorry first, WTF??? Why? Sorrie boss! But I dun see the relevance. Least say everyone is to try to be there to grace the event. How's that more like it? Nvm, it is fixed and coming. What is the colour theme? Deep purple, brown, gold (so old fashion!), burgundy... Racking my brain since then. Girls might be easier. Guys in these colour. Awww! Give me a break. When thru the WWW to find the following:-

Deep brown or burgundy vest I believe. Not a really easy match for the shirt and pants. Jeans for such an event is definitely a "no-no". Hosting in jeans is far too bloody informal. Gotta find a matching inner suit.

Or how about adopting the style of my all-time favourite, Marky, with his number in Love Takes Two. It is brown and tie. Pant's a problem. Brown is kinda hard to match. Dun really wan to get a piece, wear once, and let it rot forever. Too waste of money.

Or listen to the advice of my bf, since I am there to serve and host, let's go with a bang. Hahaha! Nothing beats the fashion of a porter. Muhahaha! How crazy can one be?

Okie, with this event down, we will reach the upcoming Company Anniversary Dinner. And this is a sucker for brain juice. Place of event. Tung Lok Seafood Restaurant. TOTAL DOWNER. Sorrie guys and gals! I am not shy to say it. It is an anniversary. We are the same age as Singapore and you are gracing it at such a gRaNd location. Congrats! Add on with a theme of "World Carnival" What a sucky theme! If you're really stuck at a theme, there isn't any need for such a suicidal one. It is way too broad. Truthfully, I am stuck at this. Pure sucky for dressing well, I am totally clueless. Everything seems like can. "Wear anything which is international". Sorry once again. WTF??? How? What? Why? Once again, WWW and tons of shopping (yep! gotta thank Nadirah for the time), here are the following:-

Cowboy was the 1st thing which came to my mind. Afer all, I was thinking to get a Harley Davidson boots. Downer 1... someone is going to wear cowgirl and I really really really can't imagine how would that look like. Downer 2... the boots is way out of budget. Gotta wait till Christmas to get a pair. However, the event will not wait. Internet pair was not that impressive.

Chaps are definitely 1 wear and throw into the suitcase. How many guys walk around in Singapore with chaps? Okie, minus the gay pubs. I dun visit them every week. Hahaha! Fashion out.

Okie, this is more like it. But I can't really think much of a use with duster suits in this climate. Maybe more for the rainer Nov and Dec. Otherwise, kinda waste of $$$. Speak much of it, since I got this job, I have been thinking alot of saving and money issues. Think I am definitely growing up.

Alright, now that's a piece I am talking. Good for the location and definitely usable pieces. Maybe maybe... But I am thinking on the cowgirl...Hmmm... Till I came across this piece when searching for the boots.

Guy in stilettos. Now how cool can that be? Touch of class with the jacket, blending of the location with the jeans and heels for the touch of OWWW!!!! Foxy! Girls, we have a fighting chance here. Hahaha!

Speak of fight, why don't just wear like a Russian soldier. Russian is the key. Got this inspirational piece from Chris Payne Gilbert. Thinking of which, hmmm... is that uniform theme? No good, no good. But it is still World right? Continue searching...

Italian mafia is the key. Just a problem, trench coat is gonna be really out in such a "LOK" place. But is a piece worth considering.

Hey hey! Marky inspiration again. West end bad boy mafia style. Thank you thank you. Definitely a problem. Finding a total white suit is already a problem, where am I to get a pin-stripped one? Dreams dashed!

Speaking of white suit. How is this tux? Of course I am not going to wear this. But it is really nice. Hey! If FEF.com hold an event in a ballroom, I will grace it with this tux. Promise! Providing I am still around. Haha!

Okie, this picture was sent to me by you all know who to spite me. Marriage definitely is not now, Ted. I promise if the day does come, we will be don in 2 sets of white tux. Happy? Now rein in your hormones. Haha! But this is definitely a dream piece. USD$250. Not cheap, not cheap. Alright, wat's next?

Hahaha! Now a black tux from my latest inspiration. Chris Evans. AAAWWWWWW!!!! Hehehe! With a lovely touch of a white rose corsage. SGD$25. No way! Okie, I must really get back in track.

How about Las Vegas rich man? Nothing like to have the whole world in your hands? Cool huh? Feeling more sleepy though. Where's my accompanying bed?

Donning in leather is definitely not the last thing which cross my mind. After all, it is the renaissance period. Still in theme of World Carnival. But it is this particular doublet which Ed Speleers is wearing is a problem. I only love this doublet. And yes, this is called a doublet, or what we call a strapped buckled doublet. A magnificent piece to wear if I can find it. I can't find it, else this is my winner.

Or this piece...chainmail? Imagine wearing this and eating. And carrying Zar'roc like Eragon. Hmmm...who dares to touch my shark fins, I slice and dice you. Muhahaha! Right, down to earth, Matt. Time is an essence. Searching...

What's like to watch the world from space? Astronaut! Thanks, Ted! Not a traditional space suit. But more to a coverall space station wear. With the advance walkie hanging off Chris's neck, that's to add to the touch. Straying a bit, why did they kill off Chris's character, Mace, in Sunshine? Heartbroken! Nevertheless, I seem to be straying and lacking of ideas. But the theme is just too broad. Everything nice just seems like in the grey area. How about something normal?

"Can I wear this?" A phrase I got from Lateef, one of my new colleague CSO, pointing at the white polo tee he was wearing. At least a shirt folded up looks much in line of the function right? But this is just not my style. Too boring. I need something unique.

White coat to finish the look. Problem again. Will wear this if it is not seafood. Everything I am eating is a potential danger. Just a drop and it is a gonna. This is definitely a dryclean and might not be the solution. So though I like it. Thanks Marky, I will save this look for another occassion.

Or why don't I just grace the event with a World popster look? A piece from Westlife's lastest World Concert, The Love Tour. I believe not only will the fish be steaming on the table, I will cook in my seat with that much leather. Though I love the tie. You all should be able to catch a better look by entering my photobucket. A little side track, don't just Marky look so kissable with this adorable expression? Okie, click click click. Okie, here is the winner! What better way than to fit the theme of World Carnival with a World Superhero, Mr Johnny Storm, Human Torch from the Fantastic Four! Yeah! Chris! Take it away. So you all are going to see me in tights? Hahaha! I am no hero. I am just Matt.

So many ideas, yet, can't really decide anything. Been walking into shops, browsing for hours on WWW, flumbling everything in my collection and still totally clueless on both events. God help me. Just pray something will hit me soon. The events are nearing and it is really scary.
