Summary Of Events
Hihi! Time for summary, I guess. Actually, I am just waiting for my PC to convert my movies to VCD. so while waiting thot of blogging a while.

Been quite a long while since I penned down my thots. Quick-notes version....
Left my previous job. Wasn't missing much anyway. Just a few of my friends there. Otherwise, nah! It's a sucky job and workplace anyway. Should any of u competitors want inside info of this company, look for me. I have no alliegience to them anyway.

Found a new job. Not realli a dream job, but definitely an ideal workplace with mainly...minimal politics. Female working environment, nice boss, great colleagues, veri interesting daily events. Will tell u why in a moment. Add on, it is nature. Great way of getting in touch of it. Hmmm...think it touch and wrecked us recently. Hahaha!

Customers were a nightmare. So were the phones. They just won't stop till the water comes in. OMG! Some were definitely a pleasure talkin to. Some...I wish I could just flood their houses with flowers and shut them up. Nevertheless, every company has it's pros and its cons. I am fine with it.

Speaking on which about interesting daily events, there will always big something big happening everyday. Veri unexpected. There of which is like the recent Thomson Tsunamis. Yes, my company was in it.

18th Sep
It rained like shit that nite. Sarah came in the office to inform us of the river reaching the banks. Thank God we CS were still ard to arrange the docs on the floor to on top the tables. Left the office with newly formed table castles. Hahaha! Sandbag the shutters to prevent the waters from seeping in. Went home at 11+ I guess.

19th Sep
Pris SMS for all CS to rush back office to help clear floodwater in office at 7+. Slightly eightish, receive another SMS to meet at Longhouse. Water knee-deep and no need to risk it to enter premises. Fall out at 11am as rain poured and water did not recede. Water then was way passed waist level.

20th Sep
Reported at 7am. Being part of the rescue team, entered the premises into the Florist area. OMG! Am I in the ship of Poseidon? Rescued out all hampers and flowers which were on higher grounds. Water now at knee level. Bloody "Phua Chu Kang" boots. Suffered from minor abrasion. Rushed over to 2nd branch at Queensway to help CS team with orders. Amazed at the carpetted floors. So comfy. Jealous!

21st Sep
Reported at 8:30am. But lack of slp as work till midnite previously. Water at ankle level. Cleared debris and the place stinks slightly due to the rotten flowers and trapped floodwaters. Noon, leg started to swell as inflamation starts. ENDURE!!!! Managed to clear most of debris and enter office. OMG again! This time, I felt like entering Titanic...underground. I completely lost orientation of where is where. Like stench was like a dumpyard. Cleaned the place partially and went down Queensway after dismissal. Stayed till 3am. Losing sense of time but gaining senses in legs.

22nd Sep
Legs like being rolled over by 100s of tanks. Hurt like ****. Still drag myself out of bed and taxied to work. Eyelids closing too. Place is like a dug up graveyard. Debris everywhere with soil and muddy floodwaters scattered. Worse, the place stinks like a million bodies rotten. Many of my colleagues puked when we handled the soaked documents. BTW, our "castles of documents" did not help. Water went right up and destroy every piece of electronic equipment. We are down now to primitive times, where even processing a single order is all manual. Thank goodness, Ryan put me in charge of the Bangla and China workers. Had them help us with most of the work while my colleagues help to coordinate the whole cleaning n salvaging process.

23rd Sep
Report to Queensway for Christmas celebration. Travelling there was excruiating. Despite 2 feets bandaged, not a single passenger offered there place in the bus. Few saw and went to sleep. Some saw and lost themselves in the world of their newspapers. Others lost themselves out of the bus. Boy! These are Singaporeans!?!?! ASHAMED! Great party and thanks to my colleagues for helping me organise the party though it was my responsibility as organiser. Went back to Thomson in the afternoon with most of the staff to help up the balance of the set up of a new workplace. Ended the day's work with prata with my great colleagues. Both boss did not want me back 4 the next 2 days for recuperation for a long week. Thanks a million!

So that's the summary and recent events. Back to my work liao. Sorry, no pictures 2 b posted. Kinda sensitive. But with our pictures and converage burned all over the news and papers since Tuesday, think you all have enough referencing. Tataz!
