Finally....

Hmmm....At last things at work are getting slower. Guess the low peak is approaching. But for how long,..I dunno. Watever the case, guess I muz grab the chance to relax a while.

Golden opportunity. Things will once again peak in mid May and good luck to me then. All the way till Sep till things go slow and shoot up in October.

So wat should I do now??? Was actually quite hesistant on whether to apply leave as I need my leave in June's trip, Dec's trip... On the contrary, my new boss was quite reluctant to release me. Guess there are still much jobs which I am still the key-in-charge.

He has been quite good to offer me to give up some of my jobs, but offering is one thing. Doing is another thing. If there is no one there to give up my job to, so wat's there to give up??? Will only give me more problems. In the end, still muz take it back.

Anyway, speaking on leave, yep...still applied for it. Noe it is a little sudden and rush to make a decision like that...to go overseas within such a short time. Actually applied about next mid week. Flight's confirm, visa confirm while the accomodation is soon about to confirm. Hmmm...guess I am pretty rush in things like that.

Guess another reason is that I realli dun wanna stay in Singapore for this yr. Let's juz see...China, Hong Kong, Malaysia Perak, Malaysia KL....been a realli adventurous yr for me. Travellling other then with my family has also been a total new freedom for me. Colleagues, whole company....Finally to start a new era in my travel history....BACKPACK!!!! By myself!?!?! Hahaha!!! Cool...Have not try that yet...

Realli excited but also nervous. Realli have not tried travelling overseas alone. Flying to such a distant country, exploring the unknown (for me la!!!) Anyway, am glad I do not need to wait too long. Juz next week. Hahaha!!!

Anyway, guess another reason is things have been a little rough with my life now other than with 虎哥哥. Be it social, work or the spiritual walk, things are realli getting a little out of hand. Desperately in need of a long and uninterrupt time of reflection. Just need to think things thru on with phase of life I need to disembark . Also on some veri big decisions to make in my life. Many things have change and this trip is definitely the key to my solutions.

Guess it will be better to disappear on my most important day...save on ur presents, cards, wishes etc... Yep! Thanks for the thought anyway.

Guess I sound pretty serious, be it my tone and the whole situation... yah... I need this retreat. So good bye for the while!!!

Quick Getaway To Kuala Lumpur & Genting

Yep! Back again to blogging. Believe u all out there already got quite used to me super late and non-frequent updates. Guess many have already gotten bored of hoping somechanges in my blog huh? Sorry la! My fault! Juz too cramp up with work. Any leisure time is realli precious to me.

Anyway, juz to pencil down my trip to Genting cum Kuala Lumpur. Haha! Another holiday where I am not in Singapore. Guess this is a realli good year for me. Though no chance to follow my 师夫 to Japan, guess going to Malaysia wasn't a bad choice. Was quite sad when my 虎哥哥decided not to join us, but guess once again, he is this big brother there for me. Covering my job while I could take a breather. Guess I am happy, also sad. Hmmm...

Ok, set off for KL on Good Friday by Small House bf's car. Was a little small and thus the 4 girls had to squeeze behind. Not that I wanted the front seat, but girls...they prefer to squeeze together. Haha! Ivy, her godsis, Zirong and Small House.

Jam wasn't that bad as we passed the customs like in an hour. Had breakfast in Johor b4 setting off to KL. A slow ride with lots of talk and laughter. Actually planned to sleep but guess not. Had a strange finding too along the way. Look below...

Yep! A overturned lorry with watermelons. Anyway, Small House wanted to join in the fun and too grabbed a prized watermelon. Haha! Had a realli stressed time passing it thru the customs upon arrival in Singapore later. Small House fault!

Reached KL abt 3plus and headed directly to Grand Seasons Hotel, so called the tallest hotel in KL. Hmmm... maybe! Anyway, small house shared a room with her bf while the other 3 gals got another. As for me, HAHAHA!!!! A room with a king size bed totally to myself!!!! Of course I muz foot a room's bill myself. RM200...not to shabby anyway!

Went out for dinner immediately as everyone were starving after a long journey. Decided to dine over karaoke. Ok, now this karaoke lounge a a bit like our Singapore's K-Box. But KL's Red Box provided buffet food over song for juz RM50!?!?! And the food range is like.....

WOAH!!! Delicious yet a lot!!!! The range of songs was also realli updated. Singapore sort of have a lot of catching up to go.

Anyway, to end the nite with karaoke is totally a waste. Went on for a shopping sphree along KL's Chinatown. Manage got a few bargains. Guess this is totally like when we were in Hong Kong's Woman's Street. Bargain was the thrill!!! Got a realli cool watch and shirt for 虎哥哥 too. Realli want to thank him for all the sacrifices he made for me.

So much of shopping made us hungry again despite the food galore at the karaoke session. Supper at a nearby stall.

Went back quite late but meet up quite early the next morning. Don't wanna waste too much time on sleeping. Anyway, the sleep in a kingsize bed all alone was realli heaven. Juz drawing open the curtains the next morning to a different sight was breathtaking.

Had a quick hotel breakfast b4 heading up to Genting. Ok, as we headed up, we realli had high hopes of the hotel. The others were pretty jealous of the room I had in KL and all wanted a king size bed upon booking in Genting's First World Hotel. I had aleady reserved the rooms both up and down a week earlier, so I was pretty anxious the hotel staff will not changed the twin rooms to single bed rooms.

Anyway, single or king size, the rooms totally stunned us upon the opening of the door. THE ROOMS WERE BLOODY SMALL... and NOT EVEN MADE!?!?! Wat ever happened to room service!?!?! The view from my bed room was also super sucky!?!?!

If u ever called that a view, u should be shot dead!?! Better than staying in the room a second longer, we decided to meet up and o explore rather than waiting. Had lunch and headed for the outdoor theme park.

First ride!!!! Drop Machine!!! Yep! Been talking abt this ride since in Singapore. Too bad Ivy, her godsis and small house's bf were height-phobia.

An experience indeed. Hahaha! Fun! Went for a tamer ride to allow the others to enjoy while we other 3 planned for the next daredevil stunt. However all was spoilt with the bloody heavy rain. Had to search for other entertainment instead like going for archery, then while the other pool at the table, Zirong and I had our share at the Photo Hunt Machine. Hahaha! Addictive game. Head off next for the casinos to win back our loss at the entrance fee to the theme park. Guess a day's bad luck got everyone in a losing streak. Only Ivy won 50bucks while me...20bucks down the slot machines.

Nite was still young then, so we treated ourselves to a movie, ,The Eye 10. Hmmm...dread that show as I had a sleep in room alone after that. Definitely admit that is the scariest show in such a long time.

Anyway, did not realli turn in after that as we had a short mahjong session in the girls' room. Headed for bed only about 2am. As the rooms lack of aircon, we opened the windows till the max as to ventilate the room. Not knowing waking up abt 4am to find my room in clouds. Hahaha! The TV was still on with a bloody boring movie but I could barely see the pictures within the clouds. Hehehe! Have to leave it on as I was still ... .... by the movie. Haha!

Ok, next morning again, and we went for a game of bowling. The weather despite the rain, is still quite hot I muz say. Genting wasn't realli that nice after all. Anyway, cut the trip short there and headed down to KL's Times Square. Small House bf have been craving for this IMAX show on the T-Rex, thus decide to go for it. The price was reasonble anyway. Compared to the experience I had in Singapore with "Haunted Castle", "T-Rex" is heaven, the latter...hmmmm.....u guess.

Was evening when the show ended. But to leave at such a time, we were not realli satisfied. Thus, had to go back to Chinatown for another round of shopping. This time, there were more shops open as it was earlier. Got another batch of shoppng streak, only to find it was reaching 8pm soon. Found a pretty famous roadside claypot rice stall,, ate and decide to head back for Singapore by 8.30pm.

Yep! 4 hours ride and still have to work the next day sort of got us worried. Add on the amount of ppl and baggage onboard sort of got us worried for the customs...AND THAT WATERMELON!?!?! Hahaha!

Anyway, sped along the highway and reached Singapore in 3hours, customs was smooth and reach home by 3am Monday.

So much for relaxing, but I do not regret as time was well spend. If only 虎哥哥 was around, thing will be perfect. Anyway, he promised me he will be around the next time we have such activity.

So u can see...working does have its pro after all. All the travels, all the great friends, not to mention to find such a great brother. Not studying is realli a blessing n disguise. Haha!
